Death Valley

January 9, 2012

I went to Death Valley back in October for my birthday and to complete my third double century (200 mile bike ride) of the year to receive my  California Triple Crown award. I have never been here and although I did not take any photos from my bicycle, I did take a couple photos. After visiting such an other worldly place so close to home here in Southern California, I was amazed at its beauty and embarrassed that I did not visit sooner in life. I strongly encourage everyone to visit this place because my photos hardly do it justice.

My old bike

My old bike is from 1984, the parts are not much newer than 1993. It is now my old bike since I now have a new bike. Here is a photo or two of my old bike.

I don’t usually like to go take pictures with other photographers, but with Kyle Lightner, we just hang out and both happen to have cameras on us.

New York: Montauk and East Hampton

August 1, 2011

Here are a few photos from a recent trip to New York. I had business with Ciiair/Gin in New York and Yata of the Buenos Dias Surf Garage. Yata showed my friends and I a fantastic time in Montauk and East Hampton.

Rosarito to Ensenada bike ride

May 25, 2011

I recently had the privilege of doing the famous Rosarito Ensenada 50 mile fun bicycle ride. Kyle Robbins of Ciiair/Gin sponsored me and joined the ride as well. We had some great fish tacos, mucho cervesa and had so much fun on our bikes riding with the locals and gringos. Kyle on his swap meet special bike and photos taken with a camera purchased the same day for 8 dollars.
