Blown-out Beach

May 23, 2008

Continuing along with my journey of black and white films… this is Ilford HP5 400, I developed it with Xtol (an unfamiliar developer) and am pretty sure I blew out the highlights by over processing, which gave the photos an interesting look but a little too much for me. The previous post and the next few are all from the same batch of film.
this is a day at crescent beach with some friends…

these photos would look way better printed traditionally, the scanner is making it very difficult for me to work with the images. If only I had a darkroom…

These are some photos with my friend Cara. She is probably the most awesome friend you can capture however she is a tough one to tame.

Birds and Cranes

June 12, 2007

I just got back 2 rolls of Agfa Scala, and will probably be my last because there is only one place left in the United States that developes it, plus it is a bit pricey. On the rolls was some shots from my friend Chad’s wedding, the Aids Walk New York, and some other random shots. here are some random shots that I like. Maybe I will post more later!
