I came across this site the other day, POLAPREMIUM, a polaroid site and saw a little contest to enter a polaroid to be seen in Time Square, NYC. Typically all of the posts on here are current works in progress, but since I don’t shoot much polaroids anymore I had to dig up work from the past. The first image is the one I submitted the others are some of my favorites from the past. I realized I have a lot that were never scanned and want to get on that. Add that to my list of things to do.

As much as I love polaroids, I am not going to pain myself over getting the last of the last left. I will move on and adapt to the Fuji alternatives however their peel apart packs don’t fit as well as I found out with my Land Camera Automatic 100. I must admit, those new Fuji Instax cameras do strike my fancy.

As a photographer I like to use many tools for my trade, below are my hammers.

This is my workhorse, the Canon 5D. I use it for all my jobs and anytime I want something digital. I used it to take all the photos below.

This is my bang around camera. It is my smallest and most solid. most my free time fun photos are taken with this camera.

This isn’t my camera, but I have used it a lot. I plan on borrowing it indefinitely. It shoots square 6×6 medium format and I just love the way a TLR feels.

This is my beast of a large format 4×5 camera which I keep in a dynamite box. I rarely use it anymore except for large polaroids. it is heavy so it is an out of car only or studio camera, both of which I don’t have anymore.

This is my SX70 polaroid instant film camera. It is the best polaroid camera in the world, too bad the last person I lent it to broke the focusing on it, so I haven’t used it lately. Maybe I’ll get it fixed.

And this is my latest addition. The Canon Sure Shot A1 panorama date underwater camera. I have taken three photos with it so far. I cant wait to take it surfing with me next time. look out for photos from this one.

hope you enjoyed a look at my tools.
