Polaroids are Magical

Published on December 16, 2009

I came across this site the other day, POLAPREMIUM, a polaroid site and saw a little contest to enter a polaroid to be seen in Time Square, NYC. Typically all of the posts on here are current works in progress, but since I don’t shoot much polaroids anymore I had to dig up work from the past. The first image is the one I submitted the others are some of my favorites from the past. I realized I have a lot that were never scanned and want to get on that. Add that to my list of things to do.

As much as I love polaroids, I am not going to pain myself over getting the last of the last left. I will move on and adapt to the Fuji alternatives however their peel apart packs don’t fit as well as I found out with my Land Camera Automatic 100. I must admit, those new Fuji Instax cameras do strike my fancy.

An outtake for an ad I created for those shorts, it’s me. SX-70
